The walk
6.5 km out-and-back walk between Accumoli and Arquata del Tronto, up to Tufo, 492 m of total ascent: about 2 h 45 min of walking. Waymarked CAI hiking trail, between 683 and 865 m above sea level. Along the way: Grisciano. After the walk: wine tasting at Il Colle del Corsicano (9.6 km) and lunch at Osteria del Castello in Arquata del Tronto (1.4 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

From Ascoli Piceno: about 45 min (30 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
