The walk
6.0 km out-and-back walk between Briga Alta and Limone Piemonte, up to di Pesio, Punta Melasso, bivio CNAL27-CNAH18, 421 m of total ascent: about 2 h 30 min of walking. Waymarked hiking trail, between 1877 and 2160 m above sea level. Along the way: Cima Baban, Monte Jurin and Testa di Baban. After the walk: lunch at Locanda del Falco in Valdieri (19.4 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

By car
From Cuneo: about 35 min (23 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
