7.4 km out-and-back walk near Varese Ligure, up to Passo del Cavallo, 359 m of total ascent: about 2 h 30 min of walking. Waymarked hiking trail, between 759 and 913 m above sea level. After the walk: wine tasting at la Ricolla (6.1 km) and lunch at La Brinca in Ne (9.4 km).
