Fratesele to Monte Cimone

The walk
6.5 km out-and-back walk between Lavarone and Caldonazzo, up to Monte Cimone (bivio 222 - 225), 379 m of total ascent: about 2 h 30 min of walking. Waymarked CAI hiking trail, between 1253 and 1515 m above sea level. After the walk: wine tasting at Michele Sartori (6.4 km) and lunch at Boivin in Levico Terme (5.0 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

By car
From Trento: about 25 min (18 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
Take a train to Trento, then a regional bus or a taxi for the last stretch. Our link plans the whole trip with Google Maps public transport.
