The walk
5.5 km out-and-back walk between Caslino d'Erba and Rezzago, up to Bocca Vallunga, 466 m of total ascent: about 2 h 30 min of walking. Waymarked CAI hiking trail, between 575 and 931 m above sea level. After the walk: lunch at Sali e Tabacchi in Mandello del Lario (9.7 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

By car
From Como: about 20 min (12 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
