The walk
6.8 km out-and-back walk between Fortunago and Borgoratto Mormorolo, up to Costa Pelata, 432 m of total ascent: about 2 h 45 min of walking. Waymarked CAI hiking trail. After the walk: wine tasting at Torre Degli Alberi (2.5 km) and lunch at Prato Gaio in Montecalvo Versiggia (7.3 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

By car
From Genoa: about 1 h 30 min (60 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
