The walk
4.6 km out-and-back walk between Torricella Sicura and Valle Castellana, up to Pietra Stretta, 147 m of total ascent: about 1 h 30 min of walking. Waymarked hiking trail, between 1288 and 1406 m above sea level. After the walk: wine tasting at Cantina Cioti (7.2 km) and lunch at PerVoglia in Castellalto (18.7 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

From Ascoli Piceno: about 20 min (14 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
