5.3 km out-and-back walk between Vicovaro and San Polo dei Cavalieri, up to Madonna dei Ronci, 377 m of total ascent: about 2 h 15 min of walking. Waymarked hiking trail, between 555 and 787 m above sea level. After the walk: lunch at Li Somari Trattoria Fuori Porta in Tivoli (8.2 km).

From Rome: about 45 min (32 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
