The walk
5.7 km out-and-back walk near Linguaglossa, up to Piano Provenzana, 312 m of total ascent: about 2 h of walking. Waymarked hiking trail, between 1491 and 1802 m above sea level. After the walk: wine tasting at Aitala Vini dell'Etna (7.3 km) and lunch at 4 Archi in Milo (9.7 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

By car
From Catania: about 50 min (33 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
Take a train to Catania, then a regional bus or a taxi for the last stretch. Our link plans the whole trip with Google Maps public transport.
