The walk
Almost-loop walk of 3.0 km near Cortona, almost flat (+75 m): about 1 h of walking. Waymarked hiking trail, between 435 and 739 m above sea level. Along the way: Rocca di Pierle and Chiesa di San Biagio a Pierle. After the walk: wine tasting at Montemelino (7.3 km) and lunch at Osteria del Teatro in Cortona (9.2 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.
