The walk
5.8 km out-and-back walk between Gurro and Valle Cannobina, up to Gurro bivio S01, 438 m of total ascent: about 2 h 30 min of walking. Waymarked CAI hiking trail, between 653 and 828 m above sea level. Along the way: Chiesa della Natività di Maria Vergine, Cursolo and Cursolo-Orasso.
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

From Domodossola: about 30 min (22 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
