The walk
5.7 km out-and-back walk between Corniglio and Tizzano Val Parma, up to Monte Caio, 280 m of total ascent: about 2 h of walking. Waymarked CAI hiking trail, between 1271 and 1544 m above sea level. After the walk: lunch at Locanda Mariella in Calestano (11.6 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.
