The walk
4.4 km out-and-back walk near Acceglio, up to Passo la Croce Orientale, 248 m of total ascent: about 1 h 30 min of walking. Waymarked hiking trail, between 2436 and 2602 m above sea level. After the walk: lunch at Osteria della Pace in Sambuco (10.0 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.
