The walk
4.5 km out-and-back walk between Bobbio and Alta Val Tidone, up to Costa della Rasa, 343 m of total ascent: about 2 h of walking. Waymarked CAI hiking trail, between 675 and 974 m above sea level. Along the way: Cicogni. After the walk: wine tasting at La Torretta (8.5 km) and lunch at Buscone in Varzi (13.4 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

By car
From Genoa: about 1 h 25 min (59 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
