The walk
7.6 km out-and-back walk between Chiavari and Leivi, 498 m of total ascent: about 3 h of walking. Waymarked CAI hiking trail. After the walk: wine tasting at la Ricolla (8.5 km) and lunch at La Brinca in Ne (4.7 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.
How to get there
By car
From Genoa: about 50 min (33 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
