The walk
5.7 km out-and-back walk near Beverino, up to Gambella, 281 m of total ascent: about 2 h of walking. Easy paths and dirt roads. After the walk: wine tasting at Cerrolungo (9.3 km) and lunch at La Burlanda in Fosdinovo (16.4 km).
Easy path (grade T): wide tracks and short climbs, trainers are fine in dry weather.

By car
From La Spezia: about 15 min (11 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
