The walk
4.2 km out-and-back walk near Castel del Monte, 234 m of total ascent: about 1 h 30 min of walking. Waymarked CAI hiking trail, between 1342 and 1571 m above sea level. After the walk: wine tasting at Cataldi Madonna (4.9 km) and lunch at La Bilancia in Loreto Aprutino (19.1 km).
