The walk
5.8 km out-and-back walk between Serra Riccò and Casella, up to Costa dei Fontanini, 250 m of total ascent: about 2 h of walking. Easy paths and dirt roads. After the walk: lunch at Ligagin in Lumarzo (14.2 km).
Easy path (grade T): wide tracks and short climbs, trainers are fine in dry weather.

From Genoa: about 20 min (14 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
