The walk
5.4 km out-and-back walk between Langhirano and Calestano, up to Monte Milano, 220 m of total ascent: about 1 h 45 min of walking. Waymarked CAI hiking trail, between 470 and 695 m above sea level. Along the way: Tordenaso. After the walk: wine tasting at Cantina Onofri (1.3 km) and lunch at Locanda Mariella in Calestano (5.5 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

By car
From Parma: about 30 min (22 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
