The walk
7.9 km out-and-back walk between Montecastello and Pietra Marazzi, up to Bivio ALA607-ALA623 presso Bric Montalbano, 249 m of total ascent: about 2 h 30 min of walking. Easy paths and dirt roads. After the walk: wine tasting at Bes Bere e Sognare (6.8 km) and lunch at Locanda dell’Olmo in Bosco Marengo (15.4 km).
Easy path (grade T): wide tracks and short climbs, trainers are fine in dry weather.

From Alba: about 1 h 25 min (58 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
