The walk
6.4 km out-and-back walk between Guarcino and Filettino, up to Fonte del Pozzotello, 244 m of total ascent: about 2 h of walking. Waymarked hiking trail, between 1786 and 1865 m above sea level. Along the way: Peschio delle Ciavole, Peschio delle Cornacchie and Monte Pozzotello. After the walk: lunch at Nu’ Trattoria Italiana dal 1960 in Acuto (14.5 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.
