The walk
5.5 km out-and-back walk between Sori and Avegno, up to Cappelletta degli Alpini, almost flat (+94 m): about 1 h 30 min of walking. Waymarked hiking trail. Along the way: Chiesa di Nostra Signora di Caravaggio. After the walk: lunch at Ligagin in Lumarzo (4.6 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

By car
From Genoa: about 25 min (18 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
