The walk
6.0 km out-and-back walk between Bracciano and Oriolo Romano, up to Strada Bassanese, 190 m of total ascent: about 2 h of walking. Waymarked CAI hiking trail. After the walk: wine tasting at Cantina Morichelli (6.5 km) and lunch at Trattoria del Cimino in Caprarola (17.6 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

From Viterbo: about 40 min (29 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
