The walk
5.9 km out-and-back walk between Riolunato and Lama Mocogno, up to Monte Cantiere, 380 m of total ascent: about 2 h 15 min of walking. Waymarked CAI hiking trail, between 1208 and 1588 m above sea level. After the walk: wine tasting at Versante - vini di montagna (5.8 km) and lunch at Il Nonno Cianco in Abetone Cutigliano (16.2 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.
