The walk
4.9 km out-and-back walk between Parre and Ardesio, up to Monte Vaccaro (incrocio 241), 439 m of total ascent: about 2 h 30 min of walking. Waymarked hiking trail, between 1453 and 1719 m above sea level. After the walk: lunch at Trattoria delle Miniere in Lenna (17.2 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.
